In 2018, my step mum Claire was diagnosed with a rare form of incurable blood cancer. It was December and she was given only the name of the cancer and told to spend Christmas telling family and coming to terms with it. It was Macmillan that provided the support and care so that we could come to terms as a family and learn more about the cancer diagnosis. Macmillan have continued their support of Claire and our family.
