Our total
Your team total includes offline and JustGiving income but excludes Gift Aid.
Any donations that haven't been raised directly through the official Longest Day Golf fundraising page or JustGiving may not show on the leaderboard or individual fundraising pages but will still count towards the overall competition total.
On Thursday, 19th June, we are heading to The Kendleshire, Coalpit Heath, to play 72 holes of golf in one day. Yep, you read that right - 72 holes. That's 4 full rounds of golf, the equivalent of walking just over 20 miles. Sun up to Sun down. Blisters, sore backs, lost balls and for at least 2 members of the team - sunburn...the lot. And we're doing it all for an amazing cause - Macmillan Cancer Support - in loving memory of our Mum and Mother-in-law Sharon Shermon. Mum passed away on the 28th February 2025 after a long, tough battle with cancer. She was strong, full of love and fought with everything she had and wore her trademark smile throughout. We all miss her more than words can say. This is our way of honouring her memory and giving something back to the people who helped her - and who continue to help so many others. Macmillan help families through the hardest times - with care, support and compassion. They do incredible work for people living with cancer but they rely on fundraising like this to keep going. So we're hitting the fairways (or at least aiming somewhere near the fairway) to raise money and awareness in Mum's name. So please if you can donate, share, support or just cheer us on (a can of Guinness and a Yorkie would be much appreciated!) We're doing this for a truly special person and for a charity that makes a massive difference. This one's for you Shaz. Read less
