Having felt the wrath of cancer in 2024, losing two very special people, we are back to support Macmillan and the fantastic things they do by taking part in the Longest Day golf challenge! We lost Mike last spring, so we completed the challenge for him. Then, later in 2024, I lost my step-mum, Helen. Helen was a significant family member for some 30 plus years, being there for my Dad as well as for me and my brother. Helen, a thoughtful, caring, fun, and special person, much like Mike. She was always there for us all at all times. Whilst Helen had no time for golf, Macmillan were there for both Helen and my Dad, and I know Helen would have supported us in this challenge as she did for Mike last year. Both Mike and Helen were so similar in so many ways, so this year we will be remembering them both. I hope you will all support us in this challenge, ensuring the fantastic people at Macmillan continue to support everyone who faces the real challenge of cancer. Every penny counts; every contribution will make a difference. We must keep fighting cancer, together! Read less
