We were inspired to take part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support because cancer has affected the lives of people close to me. Macmillan offers medical, emotional, financial and practical support to individuals and families facing one of life's toughest challenges. By playing 72 holes in one day, we hope to push ourselves physically and mentally in honour of those who face far greater battles every day. Despite our golfing abilities we are passionate about the sport and felt it was a way to give back that felt meaningful.
