Two lads go head to head in the 72 hole challenge 25,000 yards, 13 hours, 4 golf courses, 1 day and a goal to raise as much money as we can for Macmillan Cancer! Curtis - As a sports coach I have the pleasure of meeting and teaching hundreds of students none with a bigger personality or smile as bright as Ayaana’s. Ayaana is a cheeky, kind and all round superstar at school (except when she tells me how boring PE is) (SHE LOVES IT REALLY) a pleasure to teach and to talk to around school. Ayaana was given a recent diagnosis of B cell acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia and has started chemotherapy. She is now home after a tough period in ICU but is ready to tackle whatever is thrown at her (soon to be dodgeballs in PE when we welcome her back to school!) She has already done so well and is making everyone who knows her proud each day to be a part of her journey and life. I am very honoured to have had the privilege of dedicating this event to her and will be thinking of her while enduring this marathon of some guaranteed horrendous golf 😂 . Let’s raise some money for this fantastic little girl ready to celebrate the strength and bravery she has shown. Ayaana loves cats unicorns and I’m told “Aphmau” but I’m not as cool as she is to know what that is !
