The cause - Back in 2018 Nicky Kirby, a loving Mother, Wife and friend passed away after a monumental battle with Ovarian cancer. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible difference their care and compassion can make during one of our toughest journeys. They were there not just for her, but for our whole family. Offering emotional support, expert advice, and practical help when we felt overwhelmed. It wasn’t just about medical care; it was about kindness, dignity, and being truly seen. That experience left a deep mark on all of us involved , and it’s why we feel so driven to give back. Fundraising for Macmillan is our way of saying thank you, of honouring her strength, and of helping ensure that other families facing cancer can receive the same life-changing support we did. We will be participating in the MacMillan longest day golf challenge where we will be playing 72 holes (4 rounds) of golf within a day. The format of each round will change with the first round being a 4 man best ball scramble, followed by a tournament style 1v1v1v1.
