What is the challenge?

The Longest Day Golf Challenge is the biggest game of your life. Playing four rounds in one day is no mean feat. You’ll need to be able to walk around 20 miles and stay the course from sunrise to sun down. If you’re fit and focused, you’ll join the thousands of teams who rose to the Longest Day Golf Challenge to help people affected by cancer.
With 72 holes to play, you’re going to need all the daylight you can get, so we recommend playing on the longest day of the year - June 21. However, you can play any time from May to August.
Why the event is happening
Everyone who takes on the Longest Day Challenge raises money for Macmillan so we can help people live life with cancer by providing vital emotional, practical and medical support when it’s really needed. Since 2002, golfers like you have raised over £9 million. That’s why, to us, everyone who plays is a real hero.
