1. Fundraise, fundraise, fundraise!
The money you raise will help us be there for more people with cancer - every pound you raise really does make a difference.
2. Make sure the club knows you’re playing for Macmillan
They may give you all sorts of support, like helping you fundraise in the bar.
3. Get fit – or even fitter
It's a long day with lots of walking. Going for long walks in the months before the big day will help make sure you can take on the Longest Day Golf Challenge.
4. Be prepared
Think about what you and your team need to get you through the day, such as extra socks and snacks. Check to see if anyone needs to take medication or has special dietary requirements. And don’t forget to download your scorecards before the day.
5. Get your fan club ready
Having people to cheer you on makes a huge difference – especially when you make it to the 72nd hole.
